Excellent profile!

Fill out your profile for career entry mentoring in a meaningful way.

Once your mentoring request is sent, the mentor can see the following sections of your profile data: My current situation, My goal(s) and what help am I looking for. Use the respective text fields to formulate at least 2-3 sentences per heading. This will make your request more meaningful.

My current situation

In the first section, your current (study) status should be noted. What section are you in and what majors do you have or will you choose?

Example: I study geography in the 8th semester and have specialized in the field of human geography as well as cartography. In addition, I have chosen my electives in social skills, business administration, and leadership.

My goal(s)

The second section contains an outlook on their short- and medium-term career goals. In which industry would you like to enter after graduation?

Example: Through my part-time job in student counselling, I realized how much I enjoy working with people and passing on knowledge. However, since this is a career field outside of my studies, I am looking for opportunities to use my education and work experience to gain a foothold in the field of continuing education/counseling.

What help do I want:

In point three, it is about what questions should be answered during the mentoring process. The mentor uses this information to decide if she orhe can provide enough help for your purpos.

Example: I am looking for assistance in figuring out how to get started in the industry with my stated prerequisites. How have you been able to do that as a mentor? What additional qualifications should I acquire in order to be equipped to start my career? And what is the application process like in the continuing education sector.
